Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you in this opportunity and hoping you are blessed alongside your loved ones. This is Carlos Geovany Arevalo Benito and I am 12 years old. Nowadays, we continue attending the Catholic Church twice a week. Thanks to the LW evangelism team who shared the Gospel with us, we are sure that God is our savior. My adoptive mother is Carmen Lopez De La Cruz, and she is 51 years old. She continues digging sand and carries stones from the river. As you know, she is the only one that covers our needs. In addition, she raises hens, and pigs for selling to get some income. She makes an effort to cover my school expenses even though she does not have a stable job. About her health, sometimes she suffers from neck and waist pain, but fortunately, she is under medical treatment.
By the grace of God, I am healthy. This year I am in 2nd grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day. I enjoy doing my homework after school because, with this new study method, I learn easier. In the future, I would like to learn English; I think it is a very interesting language. My dream is to become a good farmer because I want to be able to help my family. I love Christmas time because we light fireworks. My favorite drink is lemonade. On my birthday, I like to spend time with my family and celebrate. Among sports, I enjoy playing soccer. As a family, we express to you our gratitude for all that you have done for us through the feeding program because I can have my meals twice a week and I can have medical and dental attention in the clinics too. As a humble family, our priority needs are corn, black beans, and clothes. May God bless you!
Hugs and kisses,
Carlos Geovany Arevalo Benito
