My Story

May the grace of the Lord be with you and your loved ones! By means of this letter, I want to express my family’s and my gratitude to you for supporting LW-Adopt A Child with your donations. This organization has blessed many children for a long time. Proof of that, my mother was able to enjoy delicious meals and attend the bible classes at the feeding program when she was a child. She had a nice experience there, so she felt motivated to take my siblings and me there. My full name is Keivyn Esduardo David Chivalan Riz and I am 16 years old. Today, I am an eighth-grade student. I study in the morning shift, so I dedicate some minutes to helping my mother to look for firewood in the afternoon. I prefer cold weather rather than hot because it is refreshing and comfortable to do my daily activities. I tell you that my whole family and I are doing well. My mother received Jesus in her heart as her savior and Lord a while ago, and since then, she has confidence in getting into Heaven. Nevertheless, she recognizes that we are all sinners and need spiritual assistance from our siblings in Christ to keep going. Therefore, we attend the Prince of Peace Church. What I like the most is attending the youth group because they have nice activities that help me to learn more about God. Please for my whole family so that we may grow even more in faith and love for God.

About my parents, I want you to know that my father works hard in the field by growing vegetables in the United States. He traveled to that country many years ago to support our family financially. Fortunately, he is in touch with us every weekend. On the other hand, my mother is a very busy housewife and sells chickens that she raises to earn an extra income and contribute to the expenses.
