Hello! I feel so blessed to be part of the feeding program from Living Water and receive a big support. I am Jessica Heisel Concepcion Tunay Ortiz. I am a 18-year-old girl. We still attend Saint Paul Catholic Church. We like to attend bible readings and family reunions. It was so king of an evangelism teacher to share the gospel with us during this visit. My mom is still making and selling tortillas. She also sells snacks to get more income and supply our needs. As a family, we have gone through hard economic times since my mother is the only one who provides for our family. Nevertheless, God has never left us alone and we receive support from Living Water. My mom suffers from her gallbladder and is having pain again; the doctors recommended her to do the surgery. Last year, they only took out the stones. Now, she has to make an appointment at the hospital. This process takes time and we hope it can be very soon. I beg for your prayers so that everything goes well with this process. Thankfully, my siblings and I are healthy.
I am attending 9th grade. I have a friend named Jeymi. We like to talk, share our snacks and do our homework together. Our friendship is a year old. I admire my mom; she is a strong woman and struggles to take our family ahead. I help to make the tortillas on holidays and weekends. The hardest thing I have faced so far has been taking care of my family when my mom got sick and could not run the tortilla business. I prayed to God, asking for peace and strength to do the things my mom usually does and take care of my siblings. Without any doubt, God helped me since He is my faithful friend and my guide. He accompanies me at each step of my life. I would like you to know that I shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. I appreciate you taking the time to read my letter. May God bless you!
Huge hugs,
Jessica Heisel Concepcion Tunay Ortiz
