My Story

This is Lorena, and I greet you fondly hoping you are doing well. Before telling you my latest news, I thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. I live with my mom and siblings. We attend a Christian Church called Ebenezer. I am grateful to a teacher of the LW evangelism team because he shared the gospel with me. It was a great blessing for me. After that, I gave him all this information to let you know about my life. My family and I have lived by God's mercy. Some of our needs are a new bed, clothes, and groceries. Now, I want to tell you a little bit more about me. I am 25 years old, and I am doing well despite my condition. As you know, I was diagnosed as a girl with mental retardation. Nowadays, I use my free time to help my mom to feed our cows. There are many things that I would love to accomplish. My greatest dream is to learn how to embroider napkins. I love the rainy season because we can take advantage of it to grow corn and beans for our consumption. I like drinking soft drinks, but my favorite is Coca-Cola. When my birthday comes, my mom usually prepares a tasty dinner for me. I am glad and grateful because I can attend the feeding program to receive delicious food and medicines. The LW staff has treated me with love and kindness. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to hear from you soon. See you later!
