My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you from the bottom of my heart and I hope you and your family are well.  I want to share some news about my family and me through this little letter. I am Luis Alfredo Matias Alquijay and I am 14 years old. I am a healthy boy. I am in 8th grade at school this year and I go to study in the mornings from 8:00am to 1:00pm. I spend my weekend helping with chores at home. I enjoy attending the Feeding Program because I have been blessed with delicious and free meals. I like to eat the “pepian” (a typical dish) that they serve there. In the future, I want to be a volunteer for the Ministry because I would like to help other children. I want to let you know that I enjoyed receiving the special gift during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. My family is grateful for every benefit that I receive from LW Ministries.

As you know, I live under my grandmother`s care. Her name is Maria and she is a housewife and she cooks for me. Currently, my uncles Andy and Mynor Alquijay support me financially by working in the maintenance are of a School called “Los Patojos”. We have a cat and four dogs as our pets at home. As a family, we are not attending any church. LW teacher shared the gospel with me during the visit and encouraged me to seek God. I am grateful for the special advice.
