My Story

I fondly greet you in the name of Jesus, wishing lots of blessings and success in everything you do. My full name is Jennifer Mariana Ordonez Lopez and I am pleased to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for more than ten years. LW-Adopt A Child has helped me with food as well as medical and dental care, which my family really appreciates. I am 20 years old and this is my second year of law at the university. I also have the opportunity to work as a middle school teacher. When I stay home, I usually help my mother with the chores. I prefer the cold weather and I attend the Catholic Church. My family and I are motivated to persevere there because everybody has the privilege to serve in different areas.

In my case, I serve together with the altar boys. We are working hard to become better than yesterday, which will help us to go to heaven. Sister Raquel (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged me to continue persevering in order to keep a solid relationship with God, day by day. I want you to know that my whole family is in good health. My father has a stable job in a factory as an operator to cover our expenses and needs. On the other hand, my mother dedicates her full time to taking care of our family. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for one of my uncles who suffers from health issues. In advance, thank you so much!
