My Story

It is a privilege to greet you through this letter. This is Anderson, and I hope you are having a fantastic day with your loved ones. My family and I are members of a Christian Church called Power of the Word. We usually attend our services on Wednesdays and Sundays. My family and I praise the Lord because of his multiple blessings. One of them is LW because it has helped us with food. Besides that, the staff has preached God’s news, which is the most important for us. A member of the LW staff spoke with my mother and encouraged her to continue trusting and looking for the Lord. He also took advantage of that moment to collect this information for you. My mother, Ana Valenzuela, works in her own business. She sells chicken and French fries to help my father with expenses, but sales have decreased because everything is expensive. My father, Eddie Garcia, makes a living as a taxi driver. Thankfully, they and my siblings are healthy.

I am nine years old, and I look forward to becoming a policeman when I am older. This year, I am doing my best as a second-grade student and I am glad because classes are face-to-face. I think it is better to study at school than at home. Our economic situation has been difficult lately, so my parents have had trouble covering my school needs. Summer is my favorite season because I like play water with my older siblings. I like drinking water and lemonade. If someday I could have the opportunity to learn a new language, I would choose the Kaqchickel dialect. I like doing many things to celebrate my birthday, but what I love the most is having a delicious meal to share with my family. I say goodbye to you now, but I hope to hear from you soon.

With much love,

Anderson Isai Garcia Valenzuela
