Good morning, dear sponsor! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the Living Water program and receive your support. I am Jose Silverio Grave Mendez, and I turn 9 years old in July of this year. My loved ones and I attend Assembly of God Methodist Church. The activity we enjoy the most is the First Fruits presentation. My mom believes in God and he is her savior. It was so kind of the evangelism teacher to encourage us to continue seeking God. God is the world creator. My dad is not in my life since he abandoned us and we do not receive any support from him. My mom struggles to provide for our home needs. She weaves typical items to sell, and she also raises hens and turkeys to get more income. Thankfully, my older siblings are working and helping my mother to supply our needs. 

Thankfully, I am doing well in my studies and I am a third grader. I have a friend named Gerson. We like to play football and tag; we have been friends since we were very young. I like my mom´s personality. I got very sick with cough for some weeks. My mom was worried about me and prayed for my recovery and thanks to God, I am now doing well. I would like you to know that my mom shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. I pray to God for bountiful blessings over you!
