My Story

Hello Sponsor. I hope you are having a wonderful day. I am writing to you because I wanted to tell you how everything is going for me. First, receive warm regards from your sponsored child, Maximiliano Gomez Morente. I turned 14 years old in July. I was enrolled at school in seventh grade. I have attended the feeding program for ten years, and it has been a blessing for me. The most beautiful moment is when we say grace before a meal in the program. In my free time, I help do farming jobs at home. I love the hot weather because I enjoy drinking cold water.

My family is grateful for each blessing you have shared with us. My father still works farming the land and as a day laborer. My mother helps my father to improve our income working as a farmer sometimes. Most of the time, my mother stays home doing household chores, and she earns extra money weaving typical items to sell. Thankfully, they are in good health. We are members of a Prince of Peace Church. What I like best are vigils and fasting. I really appreciate the time the evangelism teachers take to share the gospel with families and encourage us to go ahead in the Lord’s work. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
