My Story

Special regards from Guatemala! My heart is overjoyed for having the opportunity to share a little about my life with you through this letter. I am Juana Abigail Liseth Calel Tiniguar and it has been a great blessing to attend the feeding program. I started to attend this charity organization about one year ago. I usually receive Bible lessons and what I like the most is praying. I will turn 10 years old in November, and fortunately, I am in good health. I am in third grade and I usually help my mother with the chores after school. I like the cold weather because the air is refreshing, especially when you walk.

I attend the Prince of Peace Church alongside my family. What I like the most is the worship time. It would be wonderful to serve there as a singer. We are motivated to continue persevering there because of the services that help us to increase in faith. I am pleased to tell you that my mother accepted Jesus in her heart a while ago, and due to that, she has assurance of her salvation. Fortunately, she is in good health and works hard as a nurse in the health center of our village. My father is also doing well and works as a day laborer and farmer. To end this short letter, I tell you that brother Hercules (a member of the LW staff) encouraged us to continue persevering in our faith. Until next time!
