My Story

I greet you affectionately through this and I hope our Heavenly Father is blessing you! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Catholic Church; we go on Sundays. One evangelism teacher from LW encouraged me to continue seeking God. We are fine, thanks to the Lord. My mother is Maria Isabel Castillo de Pelen, and she is 37 years old. She tries to help my father with the home expenses; she works as a domestic employee. My father is Genaro Pelen Medio, and he is 52 years old. He is employed as a bricklayer and is supplying the family’s needs. My father is renting a piece of land where he grows corn and black beans; we use these for our consumption. Our pets are a dog, and five cats. In addition, we have some chickens.

I am Yasmin Guadalupe Pelen Castillo, and I am 14 years old. I am a sixth-grade student; I receive classes at school, and it helps my learning. Thank God, my parents can support me at school and buy whatever I need to do my homework. When I grow up, I would like to become a nurse. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. I like sodas, especially Pepsi which is my favorite one. Playing football is so much fun; it is my favorite sport. At Christmas, I like to meet up with my relatives and have a good time with them. I get so excited when my birthday comes; my family celebrates with a cake, and it is something I love. I am so grateful to Living Water for all the support I receive through the program because it is a great blessing for me and my family. I send much love you and I hope to receive news from you very soon. Every kind of blessing to you!

Lots of hugs,

Yasmin Guadalupe Pelen Castillo
