My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my information. This is Pedro Randy and I greet you fondly, hoping you are doing well. I live with my parents, and I have three siblings. We faithfully attend Ebenezer Methodist Church every Monday. We accepted Jesus as our Savior; it has been the best we have done. My father, Diego Tarse, is 33 years old. He works in the field almost all week as a day laborer. He also grows corn, beans, tomatoes, and chayote for our consumption. My mother, Tomasa Xirum, is 32 years old. She is a housewife and tries to help my father with her income. She raises and sells hens and pigs, although she dedicates her time to selling beauty products. By God’s mercy, we are all healthy. Our current needs are groceries, especially corn. My family and I are glad and grateful to LW. This project has been a source of blessing for many needy people like us.

Now, I want you to know that I am attending third grade. Between receiving face-to-face and online classes, I prefer the first option because I have learned the lessons so much better. Today, everything is getting pricey. It has been hard for my parents to cover the school supplies for my brother Diego and me. Despite all the economic trouble, they continue working hard to provide us with what we need. I would love to become a businessman when I am older. The fair in my village is the best one! What I enjoy at the fair the most is the amusement park. I like drinking peach juice and soccer is my favorite sport. I turned ten years old in February. Every birthday brings us happiness.  So, I love spending that lovely day with my family. They usually prepare a delicious meal and buy a cake to celebrate birthdays at home. This is all for now about my life. Before ending this letter, I want you to know that a teacher from LW spoke with my father to collect all my news for you. I say goodbye to you for now, but if you want to hear something else about me, let me know about your doubts.

Special regards,

Pedro Randy Tarse Xirum
