My Story

Hello! My name is Filadelfo Alfonso. I am 18 years old and I live along with my parents and siblings. Unfortunately, this year, I could not continue with my studies because my parents do not have enough resources to pay for them. Also, they have to support my other younger siblings in their studies. Last year I passed my 9th grade. So now, I help my father in his job and contribute with the income. My father works as a farmer and day laborer to supply our family needs. On the other hand, my mother does the chores at home and goes to work picking green beans to contribute with some money.

Let me tell you that the covid-19 pandemic came to affect us economically due to lack of work. My father only found a few days of work, and we were going ahead little by little. God has been faithful toward my family since we have never lacked food on our table, and He is watching over us. In addition, we have been blessed with grocery bags through Living Water / Adopt A Child. The help came to be a savings for my parents, and they used that money to supply other needs during the week. My siblings and I are so blessed to be part of the feeding program. We pray that God blesses you greatly for all you are doing for us, and we encourage you to continue supporting the feeding program because they have been working hard so that children can get this help. Thank God, we are in good health, and none of us have been infected with covid-19 so far. My family and I attend a Christian Church, and the services are on Wednesday and Saturday. I want to let you know that an evangelism teacher of LW called my mother, Angelica Larios by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I say goodbye to you for now. May God bless you greatly!

Special regards,

Filadelfo Alfonso Benito Larios
