My Story

Blessings to you from the bottom of my heart! My full name is Nelson Oliver Yeison Chivalan de la Cruz and for me it is a privilege to tell you that my mother also was a registered child in the Feeding Program when she was a child. She has good memories about the word of God and delicious lunches she ate. Due to her nice experience, she decided to take me two years ago. She is grateful for the blessings and benefits for free for me.

I live with my mother and maternal grandmother. Currently, my mother is earning a living by embroidering napkins to sell and she also raises sheep, hens and chicks to sell and earn some money. She also does the chores at home and takes care of me while my grandmother does some of the household duties. In addition, she raises and sells her hens and they share the home expenses. I help to feed the hens and I gather firewood along with my mother. I enjoy drinking cold beverages, so I prefer hot weather. I am six years old and I am in kindergarten.

At the moment, we are not attending any church, but the LW teacher shared the gospel to my mother. She remembers that she received Jesus Christ in her heart when she was younger, but she stopped attending church.  The teacher encouraged her to seek one and prayed for health and provision for our family. Well, this was my updated information and I send you every kind of blessing!
