My Story

Hello and greetings. I am Amanda telling my story for you through the questions asked by the sponsorship program team. I will be three years old on May 8th and I am healthy child. I have started to frequent the kindergarten and my mother brings me there to stay with reduced hours, just so that I can get used to being there and engaging with friends. I will start for sure the kindergarten on September, after the summer break. I spend a lot of time inside the house playing with dolls and watching cartoons. Because I am very small child, I am not going to play for a long while outside, so I go along with my mother when she does shopping, visits her friends or whenever she choses to take me for a walk during the evenings. We go to the park where she brings me to play with toys. My family contains five persons who are my father, mother, brother and grandmother. My brother is ten and he goes to school. He cares for me during the time that my mother gets busy with cleaning, cooking, etc. My father has abundant the family and lives in Greece. My grandmother speaks to him by phone so that he can return and join our family, but he has not come. He lives in another country and I have not seen him for a very long period of time. My grandmother has decided to care for me, my brother and my mother. She has only her pension that we use for food and whatever is most needed. I am very happy that we are going to benefit food from the sponsorship program. My brother is also registered and together, every six weeks, we will get two food packages, which means about 24 meals provided for our whole family. I go every Sunday at the Bible class in the same time that my grandmother or mother stay for the service of church. Thank you for the spiritual and physical care you offer to me, my brother and my whole family. God bless you for your generosity and care.
