My Story

Hello! My name is Jennifer Gabriela, and I greet you lovingly, hoping you are in good health. I want you to know that my family and I attend a Christian Church called Nazareth. We usually attend services on Sundays. I live with my mom and siblings. Sadly, my father abandoned us many years ago. We know nothing about him. My mom is the only one who supports our family. Her name is Telma Rosalinda Clemente Orozco, and she is 46 years old. She makes a living as a domestic employee. I want to take advantage of this opportunity to ask for your prayers for my mom. She suffers from irritable colon and gastritis. By God’s grace, she is under medical treatment. The rest of my family is in good health. My mom does her best for our family, but she does not earn enough. Some of our greatest needs are groceries, new beds, and school supplies.

I am 14 years old, and I am in eighth grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because this method makes learning much better. I would love to become a psychologist in the future. I also would love to speak other languages like English and Korean. Christmas is my favorite holiday because of the cold temperatures. I love drinking hibiscus tea, and my favorite sport is basketball. As for my health condition, I want you to know that I have vision problems. I need to wear glasses, but my mom does not have the resources to buy them. I have not been able to visit an ophthalmologist either. To end this letter, let me tell you that LW has been a tremendous blessing for my family and me. We have received food and heard the holy gospel that feeds our souls and hearts. My oldest sister, Daniela Morente, helped me to give all this information to a member of LW. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.

From the bottom of my heart,

Jennifer Gabriela Morente Clemente
