My Story

Hello! I feel so happy to write this letter and share with you a little about my family and me. I live with my mother and siblings. In the past she worked in a private school but unfortunately they closed and my mother lost her job. At the beginning of this year she started to work cleaning in a house. It has been really hard for her because it is a big responsibility, but she is struggling for us and she is the only one who supports us. God has been good to us and multiplies our resources because we always have the necessities at home. I have one sister who unfortunately this year did not attend school because my mother was not able to pay for her schooling. I am in fourth grade in a school which is Called “Faith and Joy”. I enjoy playing tag, hide-and-seek and a game where we imagine that we are sharks and mermaids.

I am so happy to play with my friends. I am healthy and my family is too. We do not go out for a trip due to our lack of money. Last Christmas we ate tamales (typical food), cake and hot fruit punch. It was so cheerful. I lit small sparklers. We do not attend church frequently because my mother gets back home late and tired. Fortunately in the feeding program I receive a Bible class and I learn about God´s Word. I feel so happy to attend there. I want to ask for your prayers for my mother because she has a big responsibility, and it is hard for to her. Also, please pray that she can have a better job and can provide our food and cover our home expenses. Thank you very much for your support through Living Water. I appreciate it so much. I say good-bye to you for now. May God bless you always!

With much love
