My Story

It is such a blessing to share my updated information with you through this letter. I hope you are keeping well alongside your loved ones. Receive cordial greetings from Wilman Tomas Simaj Gonzalez. I have attended the feeding program for about one year and what I like the most is praying and having delicious meals. My family is grateful to God because many children like me have received meaningful support, such as medical and dental care through LW-Adopt A Child. I am a healthy 6-year-old boy and I am so happy because this is my first year at school. I am in kindergarten and after doing homework, I like playing soccer with my brother, Alexandro. I love eating sweet bread with coffee, especially when it is cold. I like going to the church because there is a nice worship time.

My family and I are members of a Christian Evangelical Church called Resurrection Hispano American Mission. When we started to meet Jesus at church, we accepted Him in our hearts and due to that, we are assured about our salvation. Brother Hercules (a member of the evangelism team) recently encouraged us to keep going. I tell you that thanks to the loving care of the Lord, my whole family is healthy. My father makes a living as a farmer and day laborer, while my mother keeps busy at home. She also dedicates time to growing edible herbs to sell at the market and earn a little income. Some of my relatives such as grandparents, uncles and their own families live with us, which is nice. This is all for now, but I appreciate you took the time to read my news. May God bless you!
