My Story

I fondly greet you, hoping this letter finds you doing well. Before sharing my information, I want you to know that my family and I are deeply grateful for all the support that LW-Adopt A Child has provided me throughout these 20 years that I have attended the feeding program. I am Rosenda Mendez Tisquis and I am a healthy 28-year-old lady. I am dedicated to helping my mother with the household chores. I like both cold and hot weather because each one has its charm. I also contribute to the household expenses when I make my own money by cutting coffee beans for two months. About my family, I want you to know that everybody is doing well.

My mother makes a living as a farmer to survive. As you know, my father stopped living with us some years ago. What I heard about him is that he continues working for the city hall in Antigua Guatemala. My mother and I attend the Catholic Church and looking for God’s presence is our main motivation to go there. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my mother and me so that God takes care of us in all moments. Until next time!
