My Story

Hello! I am so happy to greet you with this letter hoping you are fine. I am Alma Sofia Quique Guarcax and my age is 9 years old. This year, I am in 3^rd grade at school. Nowadays school fees are so expensive, and because my mother is the only one that is working to support us, it is difficult and hard to cover all expenses. My dream is to become a teacher. Most of the people in my town speak Spanish, but I want to learn English; I think this is an interesting language in the modern world. My favorite season of the year is summer because I enjoy going for a walk to some places. I love Coca-Cola. At home, we have some chickens. For my birthday, I like to have a special lunch with my family. Nowadays, we are attending the Assembly of God Church every Friday. Thank you to the Living Water evangelism team who shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to seek God. By the grace of God, all my family is in good health.

My mother’s name is Maria Guarcax Tuy and she is 45 years old. Nowadays, she works as a maid. My father`s name is Miguel Quique Tala. He is 42 years old. He earns a living by working as a mason, but unfortunately, he is unemployed. I ask for your prayers for him. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, dental and medical clinics, and spiritual support. Thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every year. Our priority needs are groceries. May God bless you everywhere you are!
