Hello! I feel so happy to write you this letter. I am Franklin Gabriel Perez Velasquez, and I am eleven years old. This year, I was in the fifth grade at school, and I received face-to-face classes every day. Thank God, the pandemic situation has not affected me in my studies. I walk about six minutes to attend the feeding program, and during the time that the program closed, I missed attending it and the food but fortunately, the program is open again. My father is supplying our needs by working as a truck driver, and my mother is a housewife. We share good times as a family. We prepare ¨tamales and ponche¨ (typical dish and hot fruit drink) on Christmas time.
We are members of Catholic Church, and it is located about five minutes from our house. We felt sad when our church closed for a time due to the coronavirus. We live in our own house, and it is made of block walls, cement and tin sheet roof, and granite floor. We have running water and electricity. We have four rooms and a kitchen. We share the house with my uncle. We pray for God to provide our groceries. Thank God, we are in good health. When the pandemic started, it affected us because there was not much work. Fortunately, we received groceries from Living Water which were a great blessing for us. I send you a strong hug. May God bless you richly!
From the bottom of my heart,
Franklin Gabriel Perez Velasquez
