My Story

Hello! I wish you a brilliant and blessed day with your loved ones. I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I am Dayana Ahime Garcia Lucas, and I am 14 years old. Currently, we continue attending the Catholic Church every Sunday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my mother and for their encouraging words. This year, I am in 7th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes and I am learning a lot, but I liked homeschooling because it was more comfortable for me.  At the moment, my parents are making an effort to support my sisters and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job. In the future, I want to become a lawyer. I speak Spanish where I live, so I would like to learn English and French. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because we celebrate it with my family. Coca-Cola is my favorite beverage. I like to play football in my spare time. What I like for my birthday is to eat a delicious cake and to have “piñatas” (a kind of puppet full of candies). We grow onions for our family`s consumption at home. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Irma Veronica Lucas Xum. At the moment, she continues working as a babysitter in order to help with home income. My father`s name is Jaime Rodolfo Garcia Pec. He is 36 years old. He earns a living by working as a cook’s helper at a restaurant in Guatemala City. We have dogs and cats as pets at home. We are a humble and needed family, our current needs are groceries. Thank you to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental care and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every end of the year. May God bless you richly!

Kisses and hugs,

Dayana Ahime Garcia Lucas
