Special regards from Guatemala City! My name is Matthew Gudiel Siguenza Perez and my heart is overjoyed for having the opportunity to share a little bit about my life with you through this letter. I am 14 years old and I am doing my best at school as a seventh-grade student. Thankfully, I am in good health and I like getting wet when it rains. I usually run errands and sweep the floor in order to help my mother a little with the housework. She is a single parent and works hard to support our family. Fortunately, she is in good health and makes a living by selling fried chicken and French fries. Could you please pray for her business? We have passed through a hard financial situation lately because sales have declined. My mother is a woman of faith and prays that God will help her.
About my biological father, I have no information about him, which is sad. My family and I are members of the Full Gospel Church. We feel motivated to persevere there because our siblings in Christ have made us feel welcomed and loved. My mother believes that she will go to heaven because Jesus adopted her as a daughter and forgave her sins. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with her in order to remind her that Jesus set her free. My mother is grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for the valuable help they provide to many children in need like me. She thinks that this charity organization could not be able to work without the financial support of good-hearted people like you. She prays that God will reward all of you richly. This is all for now, but if you want to hear something else about my life, please feel free to ask me.
Sincerely yours,
Matthew Gudiel Siguenza Perez
