My Story

Hello! I cordially greet you, hoping this letter finds you keeping well. My full name is Cristiano Ronaldo Hernandez Rodriguez and I am so happy to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about two years. When you support LW-Adopt A Child, you are blessing many children like me with delicious food and gifts at the end of the year. Thank you so much and may God bless you! My mother decided to enroll my siblings and me there because she heard good comments. I want to use this opportunity to ask you to pray for the well-being of my family, especially for my mother. She suffers from nerve disturbances which cause her problems falling asleep. She is not under medical treatment due to a lack of financial resources. She is worried about the bad condition of our kitchen since water gets inside during rainy season. The kitchen is made of wood beams with nylon roof.

My mother is a single parent and does her best to support our family by weaving clothes and doing the laundry for our neighbors. We are glad to be part of the Assembly of God Church because of the spiritual assistance they provide us. What I like the most is praying and singing during services. We trust that God will allow us to get into Heaven since we accepted His son, Jesus as our savior. It is almost time to end this letter, but I want to tell you that I am a healthy 12-year-old boy. I am repeating second grade at school and I like listening to Bible stories at the feeding program. I love going to the river when it is hot. At home, I help my mother to gather firewood in the field. See you later!
