My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my update. I am Petrona, and I am glad to share a little about my life with you. I hope you find it engaging. My family and I do not attend any church at the moment, but we trust in Jesus. My mother, Carmelina Cux, is 35 years old. Since my father abandoned us, she has been the only one who supports our family. Her business consists of selling typical food and homemade snacks. I use my free time to help her with her business. We do our best every day, but sometimes is hard to buy groceries and cover the school expenses of my youngest sister Sandra. Despite troubles, we are glad because we are in good health. 

I had my nineteenth birthday in June. I would love to celebrate my birthday the next year. We did not have enough resources to do it. Christmas is my favorite time because of the tasty tamales. I like drinking Coca-Cola. There are many sports, but I prefer soccer. If I could learn a new language, I would like to try English. To end this letter, I want you to know that I am grateful to LW for all the tasty food that I receive. A teacher of the evangelism team spoke with my mother to collect my news for you. She also shared the gospel with my mother; it was a great blessing for her. I say goodbye to you for now, but I wish you the best.
