My Story

I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping you are doing well. I am Ana Micaela Garcia Poncio, and I am writing you this to tell you how my family and I are doing. Unfortunately, we have stopped attending church, and I hope we can attend one soon. LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us, and we are grateful for their words. We all go to pick coffee beans at the coast from December to January. We have hens, pigs and turkeys at home, and we grow corn, black beans, onions, cabbage and carrots for our consumption. We are a humble family, and at the moment, our needs are groceries. My father’s name is Benjamin, and he is 47 years old. He is in good health, and he works as a farmer. My mother’s name is Rogelia, and she is 44 years old. She is in good health, and she works as a weaver.

I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 4^th grade, and it is better to attend school in person because I learn more, and I can play with my friends. I would like to find a good job in Guatemala City. I like wintertime because I can run in the rain. I eat a delicious lunch with my family for my birthday. I speak Quiche dialect as my first language, so I want to improve my Spanish. My favorite sport is soccer, and I love drinking apple juice. Living Water is very important for me because I am blessed through the food and gifts that I receive at the feeding program. I hope you find my letter interesting. I wish you the best.
