This is Joselin Yohana Us Guarcas, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are still members of Prince of Peace Church, and we attend the service on Monday and Wednesday. We are assured of our Salvation. We have hens and one cow at home. We grow corn and black beans, and they are for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our greatest need is groceries. My father’s name is Francisco. He is 44 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a farmer and day laborer to support the family. My mother’s name is Candelaria. She is 34 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and looks after our domestic animals.
Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 3rd grade, and I am happy to attend face-to-face classes because I like studying. It has been difficult for my parents to support me with my studies since they do not have a stable job. I want to become a teacher when I am older. My favorite celebration is our “Independence Day” (September 15th) because there are many activities. I enjoy my birthday because we eat “tamales”. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking “Mosh” (hot beverage made from oats, cinnamon and milk). I would like to learn English language. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for all the support received. I close my letter wishing you the best.
Warm greetings
