My Story

Hello! My name is Justin Antuan, and I am delighted to tell you a little about my life through this letter. My family and I are members of a Christian Church called New Hope; we attend it on Sundays. Taking advantage of this, I want you to know that we are grateful for LW. This is a meaningful project because many families like mine receive a lot of blessings through the staff. In addition, a teacher of LW staff shared the gospel and encouraged us to trust in God and our salvation. We are a humble family, so our priorities are food supplies. My father, Alan Lima, is 40 years old. He tries to support our necessities by taking pictures while my mother keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of my younger Hassel and me. Her name is Telma Herrera, and she is 36 years old. Thankfully, my whole family and I are healthy.

I am so happy to tell you that I am in ninth grade, and classes are face-to-face. I like this method because it helps me to focus on my learning. I want to become a chef when I am older, so I would like to count on your prayers for my parents and me. Everything is expensive now, so it is difficult for my father to pay for my school supplies. Christmas is the best celebration because I love cold weather, and this time brings me a lot of happiness. I like drinking horchata, and my favorite sport is basketball. If someday I might have the opportunity to learn a new language, I would like it to be German. I turned fifteen years old in January. What I enjoy the most is receiving gifts and eating my favorite dish, grilled meat, to celebrate my birthday. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my news!

Cordiality yours,

Justin Antuan Lima Herrera
