My Story

Good morning! I am so happy to introduce myself through this letter. My name is Jhonathan Mendez Luis. I am 12 years old. We are members of the Prince of Peace Church: we like to participate in the First Fruits service; it is very special. This time a LW member shared the gospel with us. It was so kind of her. My mom is a single parent. She does the household work, raises hens to sell and also goes to work as a day laborer to get more income. My father abandoned us many years ago and we know nothing about him. Thankfully, we are in good health.

I am studying second grade this year. My best friend is Walter Luis, and we like spending time together. Our friendship is three years old. Jesus is my friend. Let me tell you that my mom watches over me so well. However, it is difficult for me to obey my mom, and she prays to God for me, so that I understand that she is only looking out for my best interests. Could you pray for me too?
