My Story

I greet you excitedly, hoping you are healthy. My name is Angel, and I want to share my last news with you through this means. My family and I are members of the Quadrangular Church. We usually attend our services on Sundays. My father, Gustavo Mixia, is 50 years old. He has worked at San Sebastian Farm for a long time. Nowadays, he makes a living in the watering area. My mother, Catarina Melgar, is 49 years old. She works as a domestic employee in our town to help my father with the expenses. Thankfully, we are all in good health. Now, I want you to know that I just turned eleven years old in August. What I love the most is breaking a piñata (a typical birthday puppet) to celebrate my birthday with my friends. I am in fourth grade and classes are face-to-face again. Thanks to that method, I am learning my lessons better.

My current school level is getting demanding. Therefore, it is hard for my father to cover my school needs because those have increased. I take advantage of this to ask for your prayers for me to accomplish my biggest dreams. I want to become a soldier and speak English in the future. I like Holy Week because I have days off. I love drinking Coca-Cola and basketball is my favorite sport. I have one dog and one rabbit at home. I hope to tell you more about them in my next letter. Before saying goodbye to you, I want you to know that my sister Belinda provided my information to a teacher of the LW evangelism team. He used that opportunity to share the gospel with her; it was a big blessing for her and our family. We are grateful to the feeding program because we have always received moral and spiritual support, especially during the hardest moments. See you later!
