My Story

I am so glad to send special greetings to you. I am Aida Imeldry. I am 9 years old and I live happily with my family. I attend 3rd grade and I am receiving face-to-face classes on Wednesday. I deliver my homework to my teacher. I do not like this study method because the time at school is not enough, and my teacher only gives me a quick explanation of my lessons. My father works hard to support our family; he is a chef and is in the United States. My mother does the chores at home, and she also weaves Guatemalan typical shawls to get some extra money.

I want to let you know that an evangelism teacher of LW called my mother, Rosa Tzoy by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I want to tell you the covid-19 pandemic came to affect my mother´s sales because the typical sales declined and therefore, it affects our economy. But, thanks to God, we go ahead little by little. We have seen God´s faithfulness toward us in every moment of our lives. In spite of the difficult times that we are living in, God is good with us. We give thanks to Living Water / Adopt A Child because they have been supporting us with grocery bags during this time. The help was a great blessing to my whole family, and we enjoyed everything that my mother prepared for us. Thank you very much for all the love and support that we received from you through LW. We pray to our Lord to bless you and LW staff who work hard so that children can get the help. Thank God, we are in good health, and none of us have been infected with covid-19 so far. My family and I attend Assembly of God Church, and the services are on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I send all my love and I hope you keep safe. Every blessing for you!

Special regards,

Aida Imeldry Gomez Tzoy
