My Story

Hello! First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my information. My name is Kenny, and I want to tell you my news through this letter. I hope you find it engaging. My family and I attend a Pentecostal Christian Church on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. My oldest brother, Alexandro, and I are grateful to a teacher of LW for sharing the gospel with us to strengthen our faith. This happened while my brother helped me to give all this information to update you about my life. My father, Victoriano Yat, is 48 years old. He works hard as a barber to support our family. My mom, Marta Tzoy Morente, is 36 years old. She keeps busy at home doing the chores. As for health, let me tell you that my mom still suffers from helicobacter pylori. I would love to count on your prayers so the Lord heals her. She has been under medical treatment. The rest of my family and I are doing well.

I was in fifth grade this year. I enjoyed attending school because the teachers explained the lessons much better. Unfortunately, everything has gone up in price. My father did his best to support the school supplies for my siblings and me, but it was difficult for him. Some of our needs are groceries, especially corn. My favorite sport is soccer. My dream is to become a successful soccer player when I am older. Speaking a new language like English catches my attention a lot. I hope to accomplish it someday. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I enjoy burning firecrackers. Besides that, I love celebrating my birthday. I turned 11 years old this year. What I love the most is breaking a pinata (it is a traditional birthday puppet full of candies) to celebrate with my family. I like drinking soft drinks, but my favorite is Coca-Cola. To end this letter, I want you to know that LW is a meaningful project for us. Thanks to many good-hearted people, this project has blessed many needy people for several years. See you later!

Kind regards,

Kenny Franky Yat Tzoy
