My Story

I hope you are doing alright and having a wonderful time with your family. I feel happy to share my news with you again. My father talked to the LW team and provided all this information especially for you. We still attend the Church of Christ. We go to the services every Sunday and Wednesday. I live with both of my parents. My father`s name is Francisco Hernandez Quino. He is 59 years old. Thankfully, he now helps my family to support the home expenses. He works as a day laborer and farmer. My mother`s name is Maria Lopez Calachij. She is 56 years old. She helps with the income by making tortillas that she sells in the local market on Thursdays and Sundays. Thankfully, our health is very good. We have some chickens at home. Besides that, my parents grow corn and beans for our consumption, but also, we buy some when we do not have enough.

I am Maria Valentina. I am a 13-year-old girl. I attended 4^th grade at school, and I did not repeat. I prefer having classes at school than studying from home because I understand my subjects. I know that it has been hard for my parents to cover my school expenses because they do not have a stable job, but I thank God for providing us all the necessities to live. In the future, I would like to become a doctor. My favorite time of the year is Christmas. I like it because I burn firecrackers. My favorite drink is soda. I would like to learn a new language, and English could be my option if I have the opportunity. For my birthday, I enjoy having a special meal with my family. Soccer is my favorite sport. As a family, our priorities are groceries and corn. I want to add that Living Water has been a big blessing not only for me, but for my family too.
