My Story

This is Osmar Geremias Jimon Benito, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We attend church on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and we are assured of our Salvation. We have hens at home, and we sell them when we are in need of money. We grow corn and black beans for our consumption; sometimes, these grains are not enough for the whole year, so we still have to buy part of them. We are a humble family, and our greatest need is groceries. My father’s name is Carlos. He is 53 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a mason helper and farmer to cover our needs. My mother’s name is Maria, and she is 48 years old. She is a housewife, and she does the laundry for others to help with the income. I would like to ask you to pray for her because she suffers from diabetes and is taking medicine to control it.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 4^th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more. I want to become a soldier when I am older, and I would like to learn English someday. My favorite celebration is the town’s fair because there are mechanical games and I have a lot of fun there. I enjoy a cake and a special lunch with my family for my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking sodas like Coca-Cola. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the food and presents through the feeding program. I hope to hear from you soon.
