Child
Hello! My name is Renato Jolla. I am a 14 year old boy and my birthday is on March 7th. I am doing well and enjoy good health. I finished on June the 8th grade of school. I did well with the lessons. School starts over in September. When I go to school, I usually return around noon and after I take my lunch, I like to get together with my friends and play outside for a while. We play football mostly, but we also meet to fellowship and take walks around. My preferred color is blue. I ask always for sport outfits or uniforms that will contain this color. My future dream is to become a football player. In my free time I play football with my friends. My family and I live in Lower Rodokal and this area is about an hour far from where the Adopt a Child programme is. My home contains a bedroom and a living room that encloses also the kitchen. We are poor and live in an old home that doesn’t offer appropriate living conditions. I have four persons in my family who are my father, mother and my younger sister. My father is jobless and my mother is a housewife. In order to support the family financially, my father emigrates. He works part time in Northern Macedonia as a shepherd. My sister is 12 years old. She is not able to hear and speak. She is also going to school but just to be fellowshiping with friends. My mother takes care of my sister and she gets a retirement payment for this. Like all the other people, we have land in the village and my parents are planting a small vegetable garden for us to at least gain a bit of profit and not buy as much food in the shop. The work in the vegetable garden is done by hand therefore the products we gain are very few. We have a cow, and therefore we have milk, butter, cheese and yogurt. My family being poor receives a social assistance from the government and with this amount they cover the electricity bill only. The Living Water Adopt a Child team in Rodokal is doing several meetings during the week at our church center in Rodokal. We have Bible classes for the small children as well as a Bible study meeting for the teens and youth. After the Bible classes the children stay a bit longer to spend time playing and having fellowship. The church service in Rodokal is every Saturday. There is also a ladies meeting taking place. Once in six weeks the children who are in the program of Rodokal receive a food package containing ingredients that are cooked at home. The package contains food items as sugar, rice, oil, pasta, etc. Thank you for helping the children and through them the whole community spiritually and physically.
