My Story

Hello! My name is Klaus. I am 3 years old and my birthday is in September. I am happy to share with you about myself and my family through the questions that the team of Adopt a Child is asking me. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is blue. I desire to become a police and follow the example of my father who does the same job. I like to be dressed with the uniform of the police and drive a police car. I have lots of car toys and love to play riding them in our living room. I have also a bicycle and I cycle it in front of my house or inside. This type of bicycle is very small. I go to kindergarten here in the village where I live and enjoy learning new things and playing with toys with my classmates. We learn poems by heart and do lots of singing and dancing. After the lesson hour, our teacher takes us outside to spend time playing in nature. We also take short distance walks. I spend the first part of my day at kindergarten and at midday, my mother comes to take me from there and together we walk home. After I eat lunch, I like to go outside and play with my friends and cousins who live near my house. We meet to play in the roads, and our games are simple. During the day, while I am inside the house, I like to draw and color, play with my toys and watch cartoons or programs for children on television. I have four members in my family who are my father, mother, brother and I. My brother is older and goes to school. He is also registered in the program. We live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas and this town is close. We travel there whenever we need to do shopping. We have no hospital or clinics in our village and when we need to get a visit from the doctor, we need to go to the hospital of the town. The town has also the community offices and we go there when we need to receive different services needed. Our house is in good condition of living. We own our land and my mother likes to plant vegetables that we usually collect and consume fresh. My mother plants only a little so that she is not too busy working. She is dedicated to care for my brother and me and we have no need to deal with farming as family, like the other people of our village. My father works as police guard in a prism that is far from our village and in another town. He receives good pay doing this job and he has his own car so he can go to his job and come back within the same day, when he is not working. They sometimes work in shifts and he stays also during the night, so he needs to have his own transportation and this is why he has managed to buy his own car. My mother gets very busy all day long because she needs to do a lot of work and care for both my older brother and me. I am happy I got registered in the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child, after frequenting regularly in the Bible classes and church services together with my brother and my other friends who go there. I am happy that have the possibility to learn about the Lord through the Bible lessons and from now on, I will start to receive food packages constantly. My parents are both believers and frequent the Living Water Church regularly. Thank you very much for the spiritual and physical care you provide for me and my family. God bless you richly!
