My Story

I am Brandon Isaias Alexander. I am 12 years old and I am living along with my parents and a brother. I attend 6th grade and I received my classes by Zoom from 08 AM to 12:30 PM. I have to send my homework to my teacher every week by WhatsApp or Classroom. Studying from home is a little complicated for me since I do not understand some lessons and I need to ask for help from my teacher. For my parents, it is hard economically to pay for the internet to receive my classes. My father is the one who supplies our needs; he earns a living by working in a car wash. On the other hand, my mother does the chores at home and takes care of my brother and me.

We are deeply thankful to God because we are fine and surviving with my father´s job.  Even though the covid-19 pandemic has surrounded us, it has not affected us very much. During this time, we received support from my school, and thanks to God´s faithfulness, we have never lacked food on our table. We are deeply thankful to Living Water / Adopt A Child who blessed us with groceries when we needed them most. We are sure that our Lord has been acting through the program to receive this help. My mother wants to give the thanks for all your help through LW and she prays that our Lord blesses you in a big way. We felt relief in our hearts when we received the help. Fortunately, we are healthy and the covid-19 has not affected us so far. We attended Road to the Sky Church before the pandemic. I want to let you know that a member of the AAC team called my mother, Ingrid Miranda by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I leave you for now and I hope you are doing well. Every blessing for you!

Lots of love,

Brandon Isaias Alexander Priego Miranda
