My Story

Hello! My name is Alex Adalid, and I am glad to greet you through this letter. I hope your loved ones and you are doing well. Before I continue with this, let me tell you that my mom helped me to give all this information to a LW teacher to share it with you. We are grateful to her for encouraging us to continue trusting in God. My family and I still attend church on Saturdays. My father is Mario Garcia Garcia, and he is 50 years old. He is a healthy man who works as a day laborer. My mom is Candelaria Lopez Calachij, and she is 41 years old. She is a healthy housewife who raises hens for our consumption or to sell.  

Now, let me tell you a little bit more about me. I am a healthy 12-year-old boy. This year, I was in fifth grade. I was glad to receive face-to-face classes because I enjoyed learning and spending time with my friends at recess. We are a needy family, but fortunately, my parents did not have trouble covering my school supplies. Some of our greatest needs are groceries and hygiene products. There are many things that I would love to do when I am older. Some of them are to become a firefighter and speak English. Therefore, I would love to count on your prayers for me. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I enjoy playing with my friends and gathering with my loved ones. I like drinking banana shakes, and my favorite sports are soccer and swimming. When my birthday comes, I love receiving gifts or having a delicious cake to celebrate. To end this letter, I want you to know that the feeding program has been a tremendous blessing for me. I say goodbye to you for now, but I thank you so much for reading my news. See you later!
