My Story

Receive cordial greetings from your brother in Christ, Josue David Alquijay Tiul. I am grateful to God because I can share with you some of my 2026 news. I attend Chosen Remainder Church alongside my parents and brother, Ahitob. Serving and learning how to grow in faith motivates us to keep going there. Sister Princesa (a member of the evangelism team of LW) shared the gospel and invited us to reflect about our daily life and how faithful God has been with us. My father appreciated her kind words and told him that even though we are not perfect, we will be able to get in Heaven by God’s love, grace, and mercy. She encouraged him to continue having faith, being obedient, and taking care of his salvation since these aspects are also important to get into Heaven. By the grace of the Lord, my whole family and I are doing well.

My parents work hard to provide my brother and me with the essentials. My father delivers merchandise in Sacatepequez, Guatemala, while my mother is a housekeeper in a hotel in Antigua Guatemala. Some of our relatives live with us, and they contribute to cover the electricity and running water services. Now, let me tell you about myself. I am 12 years old and I attend 6th grade at school. At home, I usually help my mother to do some chores. I have attended the feeding program for about seven years, which has been a great blessing not only for me, but for my parents too. My mother also enjoyed the benefits of the feeding program when she was a child. My parents have seen how good the Lord has been and encourage you and all those who support LW-Adopt A Child to continue supporting children in need. To end this letter, I tell you that between cold and hot weather, I prefer cold. Until next time!

With love,

Josue David Alquijay Tiul
