My Story

I am Josue, and I am so excited to greet you through this letter. I hope you find my last news engaging. My family and I are members of Preaching Christ Church, although we attend our services only occasionally. However, the LW staff shared the gospel and encouraged us to gather at our temple more frequently. Besides listening to God’s news, this project has blessed me with food, and medical and dental care, so I am deeply grateful. My mother, Sandra Tiul, works by selling lingerie to help my father with expenses. My father, Julio Alquijay, still makes a living as a cook in Santo Domingo Hotel. Thankfully, our economic situation is going ahead, although our priorities are food supplies and prayers since we know they are important. I praise the Lord because my whole family and I are healthy.

I am nine years old, and I attend school as a third grader. If I could choose between receiving face-to-face or online classes, I would choose the second option because it is comfortable. Boxing catches my attention, so I would like to make a living as a boxer when I am older. Although I like that sport, my favorite is soccer. The summer season is the best because you can enjoy the hot weather. I like drinking Pepsi and eating delicious slices of cake, especially if it is my birthday. My birthday was in March, and I enjoyed it so much. Finally, I want you to know that I have parakeets and cats at home. I say goodbye to you for now, but if you want to hear something else about my life, feel free to ask me.

With many kisses and hugs,

Josue David Alquijay Tiul
