My Story

Hello! My name is Anderson Samuel. I am 13 years old and I live along with my parents and siblings. I am in 6th grade. I receive study guides and I have virtual class once per week. I have to send my homework every week online. For me, it is very difficult to learn by this study method because it is very different than face-to-face classes. My father works selling auto parts and is the one who supports our family. My mother keeps busy with the duties at home. My older brother no longer helps us because he has a wife.

Unfortunately, the covid-19 pandemic has affected my family in the economic area. My father stopped working for a time. My mother went to wash clothes to get money and supply our needs. Sometime later, my father started to work again. During all the difficulties, we could see God´s faithfulness toward us through the abundant blessings that we received. For instance, Living Water / Adopt A Child blessed us with grocery bags which were really helpful for us since we received them when we needed them most. Thank you very much for your love toward us and for helping needy families like mine. May God bless you always. Thank God, we are in good health, and none of us have been infected with covid-19 so far. We attend Calvary Catholic Church on Sundays. I want to let you know that an evangelism teacher of LW called my mother, Ana Toc by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I say goodbye to you for now and I hope to hear from you soon. Many blessings!

With much love,

Anderson Samuel Gonzalez Toc
