Hello! This is Mirta Melisia Martina Toj Garcia and I am excited to share my updated information with you. Fortunately, I am a healthy 7-year-old girl. Let me tell you that passing kindergarten was the happiest experience for me. I am in first grade now! One of my best friends is Juana. I met her last year at school. We enjoy eating a snack and talking during recess time. After school, I usually do homework and sweep the floor to help my mom.
I identify with my mom because she is a responsible woman. She is a great housewife who takes care of us and wakes me up to go to school. The one who supports our family is my father. He works hard as a farmer and day laborer in our village. As you know, my family and I practice the Mayan religion. However, I have felt God’s presence in my life. A teacher from the LW-evangelism team encouraged us recently to seek the Lord. I hope we can do it someday. My mom and I took advantage of the opportunity to share all this information with LW so you could hear from me. It is time to say goodbye, but I send you my best wishes. I hope to hear your news soon.
Kisses and hugs,
Mirta Melisia Martina Toj Garcia
