My Story

Hello! I fondly greet you through this letter, hoping the grace of the Lord will always be with you. Before updating you about my life, I am pleased to express to you how grateful my mother is for the food and medicines that I can receive at the feeding program alongside my siblings. My full name is Juan Edwin Coj Garcia and I have enjoyed delicious meals there for about three years. What I like the most about the Bible lessons is praying. Fortunately, I am in good health and I will be turning 8 years old in November. I am in first grade and I dedicate myself to doing homework when I come back home. In my free time, I like playing soccer. I prefer the hot weather rather than cold because it is perfect to dry the clothes. I attend the Assembly of God alongside my family. What I like the most is singing. It would be nice to serve in the worship band as a singer someday.

My mother feels motivated to take my siblings and me there because all the activities they organize are helpful, such as fasting and community prayer. She has assurance of her salvation and has taught my siblings and me to be respectful, kind with others, and trust in God to be admitted into Heaven. Recently, she was encouraged to keep going in her faith by brother Hercules, a member of the LW staff. The main supporter of my family is my mother. She is in good health and makes a living by weaving typical clothes. She also works as a day laborer to earn an extra income. We live with my grandparents and share the expenses with them. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family. I send you huge hugs, and I look forward to hearing from you and your loved ones soon.
