My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus, hoping you are doing well. My full name is Rosi Mejia Gonzalez, and I am 12 years old. Fortunately, I am in good health and do my best at school. I am in fifth grade and study on the morning shift. On weekends, I do homework and help my mom with the housework. Now, let me tell you a little about my family. Thankfully, everybody is in good health. My father makes a living as a farmer in our village. He also grows corn for our consumption and beans to sell. As for my mom, let me tell you that she is a housewife and raises hens and cows to sell. I want you to know that the children of my oldest sister live with us. This is because my sister asked my mom to take care of her children so she could travel to the United States. Currently, my parents cover the expenses and needs of my nephew and niece because my sister only does it occasionally. She has almost no communication with us.

My family and I are grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for benefiting us with food. I feel so happy when the staff prepares fried chicken at the feeding program. I also enjoy celebrating Christmas at the project because I can receive a delicious snack and a lovely gift. To end this letter, let me tell you that a teacher of the LW evangelism team visited us recently. She shared the gospel with my mom as an encouragement to seek the Lord once again. Please pray for my family and me so we can attend church again. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my information! I will leave you now, but if you want to hear something else about my family or me, do not hesitate to tell me. I will be delighted to do it. See you later!

Kisses and hugs,

Rosi Mejia Gonzalez
