My Story

I am happy to introduce myself to you through this. My name is Jeimy Adriana Cac Perez and I am eleven years old. This year I am in fourth grade, and taking face-to-face classes at school from Monday through Friday. I thank God because classes take place face-to-face now, so it helps me learning in a good way. I am happy because the feeding program is open again. The time it was closed due to the pandemic, I missed a lot attending it. For me to get there, it takes an hour by walking. My father does farming work to earn a living. He is a responsible person, that’s why, he provides economically for our household expenses. My mom stays home, taking care of us, and raising domestic animals to sell then when needed. My family and I do spend time together, so we take advantage of this time to drink a cup of coffee and eat a piece of bread.

We do not usually celebrate Christmas. We are attending Methodist Ebenezer Church, located at San Jose, thirty minutes away from home by walking. My mom is a deacon in the church, and my father is an Elder, in charge of helping the brethren in the church. I thank God for the church was operating normally despite the panemic situation. We own four-room house with separate kitchen. The house is made of mud-brick, the roof off clay roof tile and tin sheets, and the floor is of dirt, but we would like to change it for better material. Please pray for us to get this goal in the future. The house has running water and electricity. Pandemic affected my family’s economy, because products of daily consumption rose in price. Food supplies such as corn and beans is a greatest need at home, that’s why, I thank to the feeding program for the grocery bags we received in difficult time we went through. It was a great blessing for us. Thank you so much for the support we have received. May God bless each one of you for being so generous towards us! At the moment, my family and I are doing well, thanks to God. Finally, I want you to know, my mom gave this information to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. God bless you. I wish you to be blessed continously!

Lots of blessings,

Jeimy Adriana Cac Perez
