My Story

What a blessing to greet you! I am Cristopher Gadiel Cipriano Grave, and I hope you are doing well. I am 7 years old, and I am glad to tell you that my mother and a member of the LW staff helped me write this letter for you. I want you to know that I am doing my best at school. I am in first grade. My best friend’s name is Elvis. He is my cousin, and we have a lot of fun pretending we are builders. I enjoy spending time with him. My whole family and I are healthy, which is a great gift. It is difficult when someone is sick, but the Lord has helped us to move forward.

Jesus is God’s son and the savior of all humanity. As a Catholic family, we enjoy taking part in Church to learn more about Him. Our favorite activities are the patron feast and Thanksgiving Mass for the harvest. Let me tell you that my father is a mason and day laborer, but he just got a job as a mason. While he works to support our family, my mother keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of me. She also raises and sells chickens and pigs to contribute to the expenses. This is all for now, but I appreciate you taking the time to read my news. May God bless you!
