My Story

Kind regards! My full name is Roselia Ajqui Mechen, and I am pleased to tell you a little bit about my family and me through this letter. First, I tell you that God has helped me so much at school. That has been a great blessing and a satisfying experience. I am 8 years old, and I am in third grade. I get along well with my sister Marleni. She is my best friend, and we have fun playing tag in our free time. Thanks to the Lord’s care, my whole family and I are healthy. My mother taught me to love Jesus because He is the owner of my life. We are members of the Catholic Church and enjoy taking part in the different activities. I want you to know that I identify with my mother because we have a lot of confidence in each other. She is dedicated to weaving typical items like belts. She also raises and sells chickens to earn extra money.

About my father, he is a day laborer and a farmer. He travels to the coast once a year to cut sugar cane for about six months. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my mother helped me share all this information with a member of the LW staff. I hope you found it engaging.
