My Story

Hello! My name is Stela Zyberi. I am 3 years old and my birthday is on July 10th. I suffer from Amblyopia. It’s a disease that includes the muscles of the eyes. My favorite color is red. For the moment I don’t go to kindergarten. I wish that my parents will bring me to frequent the kindergarten when it starts on September, after the summer break. Meanwhile, I stay with my mother in our house. Mostly I love to play with dolls and with ball. I have five brothers and one sister. Usually, I love to watch cartoons all day long with my mother.

My family and I live in Tirane. I have nine persons in my family. I have my mother, father five older brothers and one older sister. I am the youngest in our family. Our family lives in our uncle’s house and the conditions are not so good. Besides that, my father works, that is not enough so mostly some of my siblings go around the trashes to get anything metallic and to sell them. My mother does not work. She stays home and do housekeeping. Mostly she takes care of me because I am the youngest one but she also takes care of all her children. She prepares her ready for school, she cleans the whole house, washes the clothes of everyone and cooks for everyone. My father works in an organization against discrimination as a social worker. We are considered very poor. Our needs are many and we are challenged financially and in many other ways. Our family is quite big and with only my father working we are challenged financially and he can’t provide for us even the food for consumption. I am thankful that I am registered in the programme together with my other siblings and there we are constantly receiving food packages. We are being blessed from the church of God and they have shown special care for us all as family.

The Living Water Adopt a Child church in Tirane meets on Sundays for the service. During the days of the week there are Bible studies in small groups for ladies, teens and Bible classes dedicated to smaller children. The teens and children, after they study the Bible and pray altogether, spend time to play outside in the sport-field of the church centre. All the children who frequent the programme receive every six weeks a package of food. They come to take this package together with one of their parents. Thank you for your care and support. God bless you richly as you are blessing each child spiritually and physically.
