My Story

Hello! I greet you from the bottom of my heart and I hope you have a brilliant and beautiful day. I want to share with you a little about my family and me.  I am Edwin Estuardo Toj Morales and I am 11 years old.  At the moment, we continue attending the Methodist Church once a week. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to my mother during the visit and she is sure of her salvation in Jesus. This year I studied the 5^th grade at school. I received face-to-face classes every day and learned a lot with this study method due to the good explanations of my teachers about homework. Nowadays, school fees are expensive, but my parents made an effort to support my siblings and me with school expenses. Sometimes, it was difficult to cover every expense. In the future, I want to become an accountant. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because our custom is to eat “tamales” (a typical dish). I like to drink orange juice.  Among sports, I prefer soccer. I do not celebrate my birthday due to a lack of financial resources, but I would like to have a cake someday. Thank God, my family is in good health.

My mother`s name is Eva Morales Riquiac. She is 31 years old. At the moment, she sells vegetables in the local plaza of our village.  My father`s name is Domingo Toj Garcia. He is 36 years old. He continues earning a living by working as a farmer in order to support our family financially. As a needy and humble family, our current needs are groceries. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every year`s end through LW.  I hope you like to read my letter. May God bless you greatly and protect you!
