My Story

My name is Pablo Denilson Manuel. I am 9 years old and I live along with my mother. I attend 3rd grade and I am studying online by Google meet App. My mother helps me to deliver my homework at school on Tuesday and Friday. I need to have internet to receive my classes, my mother is striving to support me at school, and sometimes, she cannot pay for the internet. My father is not living with us some years ago, however, he has communication with us and gives a little financial support. My mother works as a farmer for Antigua Flowers farm, and she strives to cover our expenses. while my mother goes to work, I am under my grandmother´s care.

Let me tell you that the covid-19 pandemic came to affect our economy and our mental health because we were not used to being locked up. Thanks to God, we were surviving with the savings that my mother had and the groceries that we received from kind people. We have seen God´s faithfulness toward us through our health and since He has been providing food on our table. We receive grocery bags as support from Living Water / Adopt A Child, and the help arrived at us when we needed it most. My mother prepared everything for us and it was a great blessing for us. We want to express our gratitude to you and LW staff for looking for the well-being of children. We pray to God asking for many blessings for you all. Thank God, my family and I are healthy and nobody has been infected with covid-19 so far. We are Catholics but for now, we do not attend church to save our health. I want to let you know that an evangelism teacher of the LW called my grandma, Ana Salazar by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I say good bye to you for now. May God bless you always!

Lots of hugs,

Pablo Denilson Manuel Zuniga Rodriguez
