It is a great pleasure to say hello to you through this letter. My name is Edwin Armando Toj and I am twelve years old. This year, I am attending fifth grade at school and I am receiving study guides to do at home due to the pandemic. I go out to school every Tuesday and Wednesday because I have to deliver my homework. It has been difficult for me to study because I am not learning well. I ask my teacher when I have a doubt. Unfortunately, my biological mother died many years ago and I do not know about my biological father because he abandoned my mother when I was born. I live with my adoptive parents. My adoptive father works as a farmer. He does not have a stable job. My adoptive mother sometimes washes clothes for other people to earn extra money.
My family and I were affected by the pandemic because we did not have food at home for a time but thank God, we received groceries from the school and from the feeding program. God has blessed us because we have life, health and jobs. It was a great blessing for us to receive the groceries bags from LW because we could feed ourselves. My mother and I are very grateful to Adopt-A-Child for helping us. Fortunately, we have not gotten sick from the virus and we are in good health. We attend Full Gospel Church on Friday every fifteen days due to our security. One of the AAC-secretary called my mother and she was the one who gave this information about me; it was by phone due to the emergency. I say goodbye to you for now. May God bless you!
Hugs and Kisses,
Edwin Armando Toj
