My Story

Hello! My name is Rossy Diamante, and this is my update information. I would like to start my letter asking for your prayers for my family and our economic situation because it is very hard. My mother sells second-hand clothes, toys and newspapers. My siblings and I sell newspapers, and we leave home at 5:00 am. We all collect cans or other things to recycle in order to earn some coins. My father does not live with us, and he only sometimes brings milk and diapers for my little sister; otherwise, my mom has to cover these needs. My maternal grandmother, Blanca Luz, is now living with us because she is having heart problems and cannot walk due to water retention. My mom has to cover her medicine expenses, and my siblings and I help her to take care of my grandma. It has been a hard situation for all of us. In addition, my mom is an asthmatic person, and she is under medical control at a public hospital.

Thank God, I am in good health. I am no longer attending school, and in my free time, I run errands. I love both seasons, summer and winter, because I can play outside with my siblings no matter the weather. I have been attending the feeding program for 10 years, and I like praying and hearing God’s word at the Bible classes. My mother helped me with this letter, and she wants to thank you for blessing me through the program; she prays God rewards you for all you have done for me. We heard about LW Ministry and how they helped needy families like mine, so it motivated us to attend it. My siblings and I continue attending a Christian group, and we like it because they love and treat us very well. LW Evangelism team has encouraged us to walk in God’s Way because it is important; we are grateful for their words. I say goodbye to you for now.
